February 2006 - Precision Care apply for planning permission to erect a new 48 bed home - Planning REFUSED April 2006 - Precision Care announce closure of Gate Farm Lodge care home for the elderly
May 2006 - Precision Care apply for planning permission to erect a new residential care home for adults between the age of 18-65 with learning disabilities, epilepsy and physically challenged - Planning REFUSED November 2006 - Now that the care home has been closed, Precision Care apply for planning permission to erect a new residential care home for adults between the age of 18-65 - Planning APPROVED 19th July 2007
In less than 2 years Gate Farm Lodge has gone from a 17 bed care home for the elderly to building a new 48 bed home for adults 18-65 with learning disabilities, epilepsy and physically challenged.
Broadfield Road, Catford October 2005 - Precision Care apply for their first a Certificate of Lawfulness for 3 children which was approved. September 2006 - Precision Care apply for a new Certificate of Lawfulness for 4 children which was approved November 2006 - Precision Care submit a planning application to extend the property which was approved. In just over a 12 months it has gone from 3 children to 4 children plus an extension to the property. Atlanta House, Bromley. September 2006 - Precision Care apply for a Certificate of Lawfulness for a "Therapeutic home for a maximum of 4 children who may have been abused and/or have some psychological condition, as well as eating disorders or neglect." July 2007 - It is brought to our attention that Precision Care are stating on their website that The home is for young adolescent boys who are part of the 'looked after' system and for whom fostering or other forms of on-going care is proving problematic or unsuitable. The home will be managed using therapeutic child care principles and we expect to work with and care for the most troubled and troublesome young people. Education, Social Inclusion and individual development of the young person will be our focus. Our admission criteria will specifically include young people who are at risk of offending; those who are about to be discharged from secure conditions; or those young people who are to be remanded on Bail to a facility approved by the Local Authority.
End July 2007 - Precision Care advised that their plan now was to open a facility in accordance with their original application to Bromley Council, for a “Therapeutic home for a maximum of 4 children who may have been abused and/or have some psychological condition, as well as eating disorders or neglect”. They stated that only girls, aged between 12 and 18 years old, would be housed at Atlanta House.
