On 15th September 2006 Precision Care made a planning application to Bromley Council. You can view this application by visiting Bromley Council's website or you can download a copy from our website The proposed use of the property as a care home for a maximum of 4 children would not result in a material change of use, and would not, therefore, require planning permission.
You can view the decision on Bromley Council's website or you can download a copy from our website However until 9th July 2007 Precision Care clearly state on their website: Precision Care are delighted to announce the planned opening of a new, 4 bedded fully refurbished residential care facility in Bromley, Kent. The home is for young adolescent boys who are part of the 'looked after' system and for whom fostering or other forms of on-going care is proving problematic or unsuitable. The home will be managed using therapeutic child care principles and we expect to work with and care for the most troubled and troublesome young people. Education, Social Inclusion and individual development of the young person will be our focus. Our admission criteria will specifically include young people who are at risk of offending; those who are about to be discharged from secure conditions; or those young people who are to be remanded on Bail to a facility approved by the Local Authority.
The home has been refurbished to a high standard, with individual bedrooms, a recreational and study area, and excellent access to local facilities. Registration with Ofstead (they mean Ofsted) is being progressed and we anticipate opening in early July 07. Our statement of purpose is now available.
