At the meeting with our Councillors on 26th July Precision Care committed to announcing a decision on the future of Atlanta House within 2 weeks. However Precision Care have advised Cllr Gordon Jenkins that they need more time to make a decision. We asked them for clarification and we have received the following email. Dear Nick, Peter, Jo and Sarah,
We are obviously very disappointed they are unable to make a final decision in line with their commitment. If you feel strongly about this we encourage you to contact Wil Sloan of Precision Care.
Dear Mr. Sloan
Your e-mail of 6 August to Cllr. Jenkins has been forwarded to us. At the meeting held on 26 July, you committed to announce your definitive plans for this house within 2 weeks i.e. by 9 August. However, your e-mail implies that this will now not happen by then. Could you therefore let us know why you are unable to respond as planned and by when you expect to make your decision. You told those of us at the meeting that you had withdrawn your Ofsted application of 22 May 2007. Would you please confirm to us when this was done, as well as confirming that you have not since submitted another application to them. For your information, we attach a Minute of a meeting held on 31 July by Bromley Council's Portfolio Holder for Children & Young People, of which department a representative attended the 26 July meeting. Yours sincerely Peter Trott, Nick Byers, Sarah Hayes & Jo Jaeckel Link to minutes of the meeting held on 26th July |
