Councillor Gordon Jenkins has added his message of support in our Guestbook.
Councillor for Bickley Ward
I fully support the campaign by my residents to stop the opening of this home for the purpose of housing the most Troubled and Troublesome adolescents, those about to be released from secure conditions, those at risk of offending or re-offending and those who are to be placed on bail. I think that most people will accept that these adolescents do need to be housed somewhere but it should not be in the middle of a densly populated residential area that also has, only a stones throw away, four residential nursing home facilities. I will do all that I can to assist.
